What is Vesilute?
Vesilute is a peptide bioregulator from the Russian program, designed to target urinary bladder and vesical tissue. It is studied in animal research for its effects on bladder-tissue signaling in the context of aging.
- A short peptide studied for its effects on urinary bladder and vesical tissue
- Part of the Russian organ-targeted bioregulator research program
- Studied in animal research for its effects on bladder-tissue gene activity
- Investigated alongside other organ-specific bioregulators from the same program
For research use only. Not approved for human therapeutic use.
Vesilute is a synthetic dipeptide bioregulator with a molecular weight of 262.2 g/mol. Developed at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology as part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator series, Vesilute was designed based on peptide fractions associated with urinary bladder and vesical tissue. As one of the shortest peptides in the Khavinson bioregulator catalog, it represents the minimal dipeptide unit investigated for organ-specific gene expression modulation within this research framework. Like other Khavinson bioregulators, Vesilute is proposed to exert its biological activity through direct interaction with DNA rather than cell surface receptor-mediated signaling. Produced via solid-phase peptide synthesis, Vesilute is associated with bladder tissue gene expression and urogenital signaling pathways.
Vesilute is an organ-specific dipeptide bioregulator targeting vesical tissue within the Khavinson framework. Its proposed mode of action is a defining, experimentally documented property of the Khavinson ultrashort-peptide class: fluorescently labelled short peptides of this family penetrate into the cell nucleus and bind genomic DNA in a sequence-selective manner, providing a structural basis for peptide-directed modulation of gene activity [1], and this direct-to-DNA principle of short-peptide control over tissue-specific gene expression has since been consolidated in a systematic review of the field [2]. Within that framework, Vesilute is studied as a vesical-tropic geroprotector under the tissue-specific bioregulator concept, in which organ-derived short peptides are investigated for the capacity to counteract age-associated changes in their target tissue [3], making Vesilute a reference compound in preclinical bioregulation research examining vesical tissue specificity, short-peptide/DNA interaction models, and age-associated regulation of organ-specific gene expression.
Vesilute is produced to research-grade standards and independently verified by third-party HPLC and MS-UPLC analysis before dispatch. Vials are vacuum sealed and stored in a temperature controlled, monitored cold storage system. Certificates of Analysis are available to view and download directly on the product page.
Sold strictly for in vitro research purposes only. Not for human consumption. Intended for use by qualified researchers in laboratory settings only.
