What is Vesugen?
Vesugen is a very short peptide, a chain of just three amino acids. It comes from a Russian research program in St Petersburg that has built a series of these short chains since the 1970s. Chemists worked out its recipe from peptides found in the lining of blood vessels. Much of the published research on it uses cells grown in a dish, including cells from that lining. A few studies have tested it in rats, mice and honey bees, and there are more than a dozen small Russian-language clinical reports, most of which gave it together with other products.
