The related product AOD-9604 is the same tail piece with its first link changed: a tyrosine where growth hormone has a phenylalanine. Both have been studied for what the tail end of growth hormone does to fat tissue, separately from what the whole hormone does to growth. Most of that work is in obese rats and mice, and AOD-9604 has also been tested for safety in placebo-controlled trials in adults.
