What is Epithalon?
Epitalon is a synthetic peptide made of four amino acids. It was designed from epithalamin, an extract of the pineal gland of cattle, and was later found within a pineal gland preparation. It is also written Epithalon or Epithalone. Research on it goes back about 25 years and covers three things: telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes, in human cells grown in the laboratory; markers of aging in mice; and protection of cells against damage.
